I have not accessed the blogspot for one year and 2 days. In the past one year, my life had changed a lot. From jobless to become a freelance tourist guide, it was not easy to have this kind of changes in life.
The boleh land general election had not made big impact to the nation politic. The citizens are still facing hardship and the government does not seem to care much about the lower and middle income communities. To make the matter worse, the cops are supporting the rich people to rob the poor people.
In year 2015, the lower and middle income groups are going to face GST nightmare. What can they do to overcome their problem? If they do multiple low income jobs, they are not going to bring much good to their family. The kids are unlikely to have a happy family life because they cannot see their parents more often. They are likely to be taken care by a babysitter or the kid's grandparents.
The recent budget 2014, the foreigners can only buy over 1 million ringgit property. This move is going to create another social problem to middle income group. Soon or later, the boleh land property is going to jump further and make the middle income group people are even harder to find their dream house. The politicians are talking providing low cost and rebate. Even with the intensive and rebate are given by the government, the banks are not willing to loan any money to the middle income group and turns out they cannot buy a dream house. At the end, who suffers? Middle income group or the foreigners? I let you the readers to figure out the answer.

November 2012.
I have not been touching this blog for over year plus. Things had changed a lot for myself and environment. There are a few things that are still the same likes financial market activities, our daily routines and etc.
What can be the most interesting news to write this time? World weather? Banking scandals? Well, every single incident can be a hot news or debate in our community. It depends on how we look into it. The recent travelling blackout in New York had caused a lot of economic losses no thanks to Sandy Hurricane. How long will it bring New Yorkers back to their normal life? Some of them found their house destroyed by the powerful wind. Do they have enough financial reserved to build another houses for themselves? I do not have the answer but if you are keen to know, you can do some studies online or printed media.
Every weekdays except public holidays, we shall have one section for business or economic news. How do you treat the section seriously? Do you enjoy read it? Or you find it bored to read the GDP or financial results numbers? I shall touch more on it near the future. For now, today blog is stopping here and continue next time.

Poor Business Part IV.
I had been awhile that I did not log on the blogspot to update my blog. Here is the fourth series about poor business.
Today, all chinese are celebrating their chinese new year but from the feng shui prospective, it does not look good for the entire year. From poor business to the disaster around the world. On other hand, the bad luck may have some good luck for some industrials such as business related to water, earth and etc.
Before the Chinese New Year, the US subprime is really giving many investors and analysts to sell their stocks or put short selling many stocks worldwide. Many investors and traders are losing thousand to million dollars if they do not cut their losses. How does it link to the poor business then? The current economic data shows there is recession in US and may have some impacts to the globe. Malaysia government thinks they will can survive if US goes on the long recession.
For me, the Malaysian government made the stupid claim because they wanted to show good about their nation and keep the controlled party to continue to rule the country. If they make the negative comments, they may lose million voters support and vote for the alternative party. Furthermore, if the alternative party controls the government, they will lose their extra income from corruption and cronies. There are too many high officers or ministers accept briber and create thousand if not million cronies around the ruling party.
I ask the entire Malaysian voters stopped voting your long last favour ruling party, Barisan Nasional but put your vote to the alternative party regardless it is PAS, Keadilan or DAP. Let show them enough is enough.

Poor Business Part III.
As I promised earlier. This is the third series of poor business.
The gas price is go up and down. Malaysia government had increased all gas price another 30 sen and shaked all communities and businessmen. The worst hit would the poor community which are hardly made end meets. With the gas price increasing 30 sen, some restaurant also increased their food or drink by another 10 to 30% depends on the location.
Did the gas price increase have such huge impact to business? The answer is yes and no. Yes, the businessmen see their profit margin eaten up. To increase their profit margin, they had increased the selling price. No, those gas increase is only minimum 30 sen. Does it mean the business have to increase another 10 to 30% of more? I do not think so. If the transportation companies can absorb the gas price increase, why cant the business do it as well?
Instead of charge more to get higher profit margin, they should consider produce their products at minimum cost. Try to cut any unnecessary items such move to lower manufacturing location, use more robotic equipments instead of labor works.
In short, poor business may be just excuses to charge customers. At the end, the customers are always the loser....

Chinese New Year.
It is another lunar chinese new year celebration year 2006. Hihi...
What is my dream for this chinese new year? Better job or salary increment? It is not matter whether or I have a good job or higher salary. The most important is that we have healthy and happy life.
If one does not have a healthy and happy life, he/she is not living happy with million dollars (USD) on hand. Sad can make a person old and easy to get serious sicknesses such as cancer, high blood pressure and etc, to name a few. Happy means a person younger and fresher, too.
Some hams prefer to talk nonsense on radio during chinese new year. It does not matter it is HF/VHF/UHF. Normally, they just talk about weather, their social life and etc. Technical questions are hardly heard on air. The worst frequencies are VHF/UHF. Many of them complain hot and humid weather in their location. If you tolerate the hot weather, why dont you move or find a cooling places like Genting, Cameron and etc. Please stop complainting about the weather. If you cant change it, please stick to it. Oh yes, I am not against any hams talking nonsenese but accept the fact about things one cant change in seconds or days.... hihihi...

Even one wears a force uniform, he/she cannot hide his own identity. If one cant get a good or dream job, he/she may want to find the reasons why. Do not sit there to get the answers from the sky. The sky will not tell you the answers. You have to find it yourself. Talk to your friends, elder brothers/sisters or parents. They may be able to identity your problems.

Work work work.....
Tired of working in a big multinational company. Although I want to get out of my current job, I cannot find a dream job. What's to do?
In Malaysia, I read many articles about Malaysian graduates cannot find a job. I wonder why. Are these fresh graduate demanding high salary or they are poor English command. If they are weak in English language, they should try to improve it likes listen to English news on television or radio. Reading English newspapers can also help. The most important is that they must dare to make mistakes and let their friends or colleagues to correct them. They must accept their mistake, too. If not, they will not never improve their language.
For my opinion, whoever attends the national retraining programme that offered by the government is useless. Do they use the skills to find a job? Or they stick to their old habits? The government must find the real cause of those graduate fail to find a job. As a taxpayer, I do not want to see my money put into wrong use. I am willing to pay for those trainees if they can show me their good result or put into good use.
I hope that the high post minister must take note when they come to spend taxpayers money. They should stop think of themselves and keep those money for their own pocket. Come on, we want everybody to be happy. If you are only one happy, you will not stay there long. Trust me, my friend.

MCMC should allow more walkie talkie sets.
It is very disappointed that class B and class A amateur licensees can only use certain of approved walkie talkie sets. To bring in any unapproved sets, one needs to apply for an AP and has to pay some amount to the government.
Some walkie talkies have been in the market in other parts of the world, why can I import them? What is the point to get SIRIM or other certified in order to import them?
I talked on the eqso yesterday. One ham told me that America has got rid of the CW test. He was surprised that Malaysia still practises CW test here. Although CW test will not be offering after 2007, what will it has any impact to class A and B licensees? It is still unknown. The MCMC has not made any changes to the existing amateur laws. Kind of sad of staying in Malaysia.
